SPA – Petrol Retail

Who should attend?

The course is aimed at all contractor personnel who work on petrol retail forecourts and are operating under SPA. By building on the basics of the Core Day programme, the Petrol Retail course concentrates on those risks specifically found from working on a petrol filling station, focusing primarily on how to recognise hazards, the utilisation of control measures, the ability to maintain safe working practices and a safe working environment.

On completion of the course, all delegates will be able to demonstrate their understanding of the subjects and appreciate how they can influence good standards within the health and safety environment. They should also understand the importance of risk assessments and retain the knowledge to successfully recognise when changes to assessments are required.
