Humber Recruitment are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of a valued client for a Safety Installation Officer – temporary position.

Requirements:
1. NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent preferred. IOSH Managing safety level 2 as minimum.

2. Practical health and safety experience preferred.

3. Experience on Petrochemical sites (preferably refineries)

4. Experience of working on shutdowns (Preferable)

5. Be computer literate.

6. Willing to do 10-12 hour night shifts including weekends

7. Working a Shift pattern of 13 days on one day off

Job Content
1. Coaching the project team on safety topics.
2. Ensuring a good quality ‘Take Time’ (last minute risk assessment) has been completed.
3. Providing Toolbox talks specific to tasks being undertaken for that specific shift
4. Being pro-active in providing solutions to unsafe conditions and challenging unsafe behaviors.
5. Safety inspections: Conduct safety inspections on a regular basis throughout the project.
6. Taking action, gathering and reporting of Safety Opportunities for improvement (SOFI) like, Near Misses, At risk conditions, At risk behaviors.
7. Maintaining good communications with client and the customers safety team.
