Humber Recruitment are resourcing a Project Manager for Allied Protek, a leading provider of engineering services and solutions across the UK.
We are looking for experienced Project Managers to take ownership of high-value and varied projects from inception through to completion.
The successful candidate will have a broad remit of responsibility ranging from engaging stakeholders, project governance, and project delivery whilst providing leadership across multiple teams to achieve project milestones.
Core Requirements and Role Objectives
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and meet customers’ specifications
- Managing project schedules, budgets and KPIs
- Visiting customers’ sites for sales support, design meetings and presenting project status reports
- Oversee the installation and commissioning stages
- Liaise with design and manufacturing teams
- Select, coordinate and supervise sub-contractors
- Ensure Health & Safety procedures are adhered to throughout the project life cycle
- Manage and update project documentation
- Support sales by reviewing proposed applications and providing technical advice
Essential Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience delivering capital projects
- Experience in the food and pharmaceutical/fine chemicals industry is essential
- Excellent communication skills
- Qualified to ONC/HNC level in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent engineering discipline
