Humber Recruitment are resourcing multiple Mechanical Fitters for Allied Protek, a leading provider of engineering services and solutions across the UK on a long-term contract based in Wrexham with an immediate start.
Hours
10-hour days with overtime plus weekends when required.
Job description
To use engineering methods to assemble and repair metal equipment. Use heavy machinery and specialised tools to mill and grind raw metal materials, then shape them into a final product.
Job responsibilities
- Cutting and shaping metal materials to fit into new machines
- Measuring materials for metal fabrication
- Repairing and installation of different types of machinery and equipment
- Interpreting plans, diagrams and graphs for manufacturing operations
- Adhering to safety protocols for multiple types of tools and equipment
- Complying with relevant manufacturing laws and business regulations
Requirements
- Proficient in working with stainless steel to a food industry/pharmaceutical standard
- Machinery installation experience is a must
