Electrician

Humber Recruitment are resourcing an Electrician for Allied Protek, a leading provider of engineering services and solutions across the UK, which is actively seeking to expand its current team.

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join Allied Protek’s team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in various settings. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, safety protocols, and the ability to work with both hand and power tools. The Electrician will play a crucial role in ensuring that all electrical installations meet safety standards and function efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Must have experience in the installation of cabling and containment
• Fault finding and diagnosing electrical faults
• Ability to read electrical schematics and drawings
• Ideally, have some panel-building experience
• Served a recognised apprenticeship
• BS 7671,18th edition
• 2391 Testing and inspection and CompEx qualifications desirable
• Have the flexibility to travel and work on-site

Experience

• Proven experience as an Electrician or in a similar role is preferred.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to electrical work.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and safety protocols.
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in electrical work are advantageous but not mandatory.
