Electrical Designers

Humber Recruitment are resourcing Electrical Designers for Allied Protek, a leading provider of engineering services and solutions across the UK, which is actively seeking to expand its current team in Runcorn.

We require qualified Electrical Designers with the following skills:

• Produce electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and control panel designs
• Perform and produce electrical design calculations and associated documentation
• Produce and check detailed scope of works and other design documentation
• Prepare and check cable schedules
• Conduct site visits and surveys
• Understand and work from P&IDs and site layouts
• Specify equipment and prepare and check electrical equipment datasheets
• Work and manage other disciplines, contractors, and clients
• Knowledge of the food industry would be an advtange, but not essential
• Must be prepared to occasionally work away from home

Personal Qualities and Qualifications

• Committed and enthusiastic
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• HNC or HND qualified (or equivalent with relevant experience)
• Experienced in the use of AutoCAD electrical or Eplan
• Full UK Drivers licence
