Our latest Recruitment Resourcer, Naomi Stewart.

Humber Recruitment are pleased to welcome Naomi Stewart, our latest addition who joins us as a Recruitment Resourcer.

With many years of experience in the industry and a passion for helping others find the right role, Naomi brings a wealth of knowledge, a positive energy, and a genuine love for recruitment. We caught up with Naomi after her first few weeks to see how she’s settling in.

Naomi, welcome! How have you found your first few weeks working with your new team mates as well as the wider group of companies?

I have loved my first few weeks here! The team and company are so friendly and welcoming, I’ve never really felt like the new girl at all. I was a little bit nervous getting back into the work world after maternity and especially with a new company but that disappeared almost instantly.

What was it that attracted you and encouraged you to apply for the role?

The 5* Google reviews were definitely a big factor in applying. Also, the big names that they are working with. I love the fact they are a local agency and have a personal touch towards their recruiting. I met with Emma and Rachel for my interview and knew this was the company I wanted to work for, so when I received the call with an offer, I had no hesitation accepting.

Tell us a little bit about your history. Has recruitment always been part of your employment past or is it something new for you?

Yes it has. I stumbled into recruitment by accident really in 2005 when I was stood outside an agency with my CV in my hand. They invited me in, and I’ve never looked back! I spent 10 years there working my way from Receptionist to Senior Recruitment Consultant. I have worked in recruitment in the Northeast and Dorset before my move to Lincolnshire. I love recruitment, I love speaking to new people every day and that buzz of placing someone in their perfect job doesn’t ever go away, it still makes me as happy today as it did back then.

We always like to sign off with something a little fun. So if you could be any animal, what would it be?

My old boss used to call me a swan haha. She said I always look calm and collected like I’m gliding through the day but beneath the surface my legs are paddling furiously working hard and dealing with everything in my stride.
