Humber Recruitment are sourcing a Lab Assistant for a client of ours based in Immingham on a temporary basis to start as soon as possible.

 

Hours: 5 hours per day – Monday to Friday (flexible on number and pattern of hours as long as attending every day).

Salary: £13 per hour

Main responsibilities:

  • Booking in samples
  • Sample rotation, disposing of samples which no longer need to be stored.
  • Sending samples away for analysis
  • Segregating what samples require analysis and what can go straight to storage.
  • Assisting with entering results onto the QC system, highlighting out-of-spec results
  • Printing log books
