Labourer with Forklift Licence

Humber Recruitment are recruiting a General Site Labourer with a Forklift Licence to work on site with a client of ours on Immingham Docks.

You will predominantly be on the 5ft Counterbalance, although general labouring is a part of the role. You will play a crucial role in supporting the overall progress of a project. Your responsibilities typically include, along with the driving and use of a Counterbalance Forklift.

1. Site Preparation & Maintenance

• Clearing and preparing the site for construction work
• Setting up and dismantling temporary structures (e.g., barriers)
• Keeping the work area clean and free from hazards
• Assisting in unloading and organising materials

2. Manual Labour & Assistance

• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Stripping wrappers off timber packs
• General maintenance and housekeeping
• Moving, lifting, and positioning materials as required

3. Health & Safety Compliance

• Following all health and safety regulations and site rules
• Wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Reporting hazards or unsafe conditions to supervisors
• Assisting with site security and access control

A general site labourer needs to be physically fit, reliable, and capable of following instructions while maintaining a strong focus on safety.
