Humber Recruitment are delighted that we were shortlisted for the Recruitment Team of the Year at this year’s REC Awards.
We’re incredibly proud to share, once again, that Humber Recruitment was shortlisted for the Recruitment Team of the Year at this year’s Recruitment and Employment Confederation Awards. Taking place on 20th November at the Royal Lancaster in London, we were proudly represented on the night by Hayley Jackson, Lauren Young and Rachel Button, all of who did an amazing job flying the flag for both our team and our region and of course, enjoying their evening!
We may have fallen short on the night to a global recruitment agency, but being recognised as one of the top recruitment teams in the country remains a huge achievement for us and our small team. The competition on the night was incredibly strong, which makes our nomination even more special.
A Nomination That Reflects Us
Being shortlisted highlights what we aim to deliver every day. We’re committed to offering a truly personal and bespoke service that puts people first. Our team takes the time to understand employers and candidates on a deeper level so we can match people to roles that genuinely fit their goals, skills and long-term plans. This approach, combined with our risk-free recruitment model, continues to set us apart.
We believe good recruitment is not about filling a vacancy. It is about building confidence for employers and creating opportunities for individuals. Being named a finalist shows that our values are seen and recognised within the wider recruitment community.
A Night to Remember
The venue provided the perfect setting and the evening was a fantastic chance to celebrate the industry and meet others who share our team’s enthusiasm for their profession.
Hayley, Lauren and Rachel enjoyed meeting fellow recruitment teams from across the country and connecting with other finalists across all awards. A standout moment for the team was meeting Neil Carberry OBE, the Chief Executive of the REC. It was a real pleasure to talk with him about the sector across the UK and the way organisations like ours are helping to create positive change.
The atmosphere on the night showcased just how much passion goes into our sector. Although we did not have the honour of taking home the trophy, being shortlisted gave our team an incredible sense of belief in the work we do and the difference we make.
Celebrating Our Team
We would not have been shortlisted if it weren’t for the hard work and dedication of our incredible team. Every member of Humber Recruitment contributes to the standard of service that earned us a place at the event. From that initial first conversation with a client to the moment one of our candidates secures a new role, our focus remains on quality, honesty and trust at all times.
Our shortlisting also reflects the support of our clients who continue to choose us to represent their businesses. Many of these relationships have grown over several years and grow stronger and stronger. From those who have used us on single occasions, right through to those who we have had relationships with for many years, we cannot thank you enough for trusting us and showing confidence in our team, helping us deliver great results.
Looking ahead
We will continue to offer and improve the services that originally earned us this nomination and we remain focused on giving employers and candidates a smooth and supportive experience.
