Industrial Supervisor and CompEx Electrician

Humber Recruitment are currently resourcing an Industrial Supervisor & CompEx Electrician for a client of ours working on a project in Teesside on a 4-to-6-week contract.

Location – Teesside

Contract – Temporary – 4 to 6 weeks

Hours – 40 per week (additional hours may be available / required)

Working Time – Monday to Friday between the hours of 07:30 and 17:00, subject to confirmation

Pay – £30 to £35 per hour subcontract depending on experience

Job Profile – The following outlines the full spectrum of the role’s requirements.

The ideal candidate will be people-focused with a strong basis in electrical installation works within ATEX hazardous areas, having worked as an electrical technician with a proven track record for supervising and delivering complex projects safely and in line with electrical best practice.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Installation and testing of various electrical systems within an industrial environment, including containment, cabling, glanding, termination, testing, and inspection.
• Installation and inspection of electrical works within ATEX-rated hazardous areas,
• Experience supervising teams of electricians and apprentices on industrial sites,
• Adhering to strict health and safety requirements, electrical regulations, and H&S law.

Technical/Knowledge Requirements:

• Time served, qualified electrician
• BS 7671 18th Edition qualified
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a qualified electrician with industrial and ATEX experience
• CompEx 01 to 04
• UK Manual Driving Licence
