Humber Recruitment is resourcing a Chartered Structural Engineer for Allied Protek, a leading provider of engineering services and solutions across the UK, which is actively seeking to expand its current team.
Overview
Allied Protek are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join its team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing, analysing, and ensuring the structural integrity of various projects. The successful candidate can be based at their Grimsby or Runcorn sites.
Responsibilities
– Utilise software such as Revit, CAD, and MicroStation to design and analyse structural systems
– Manage projects from conception through to completion, ensuring they meet quality standards and deadlines
– Collaborate with architects and construction teams to develop efficient structural solutions
– Conduct system design and analysis for a variety of structures including buildings, bridges, and industrial facilities
– Use AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Mathcad for structural calculations and drawings
– Ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations in all designs
Requirements
– Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
– Proven experience in structural engineering
– Proficiency in Revit, CAD, MicroStation, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Mathcad
– Strong project management skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Excellent problem-solving abilities
– Knowledge of building materials and construction methods
