Humber Recruitment are resourcing a Cook/Kitchen Assistant for a new client of ours based in Grimsby with an immediate start.
Hours – 3 days per week – 0800 to 1730 – 24 hours per week
Job Requirements
- To implement a varied and nutritional menu for the clients
- Liaise with dieticians regarding food options
- To liaise with the residents to establish their preferences
- To provide special diets as per care plan instructions
- To ensure a good supply of food is held within the home which offers a choice of meals
- To ensure the kitchen and relevant areas are maintained safely and that health and safety is adhered to at all times
- To ensure kitchen staff are aware of the regulations regarding the kitchen and food preparation
- To ensure that meals are delivered on time
- To ensure that every step is taken to help eliminate cross contamination of food
- To record temperatures and maintain the efficiency of fridges and freezers
- To ensure that food temperatures are monitored and recorded
- To oversee the kitchen assistants and their responsibilities
- To provide home baking
