Electrical Buyer/Storeperson

Humber Recruitment are resourcing an Electrical Buyer/Storeperson for client of ours based in Grimsby.

Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00 to 17:00 as standard. The ideal candidate would be expected to work up to 10 hours per day if required. The position is based on the client’s site, but would on occasions require the individual to collect and delivery to and from sites and wholesalers.

Holidays: 24 days plus Bank Holidays

Pension: Company payment contributions

Salary: Dependant on experience

The position is for a self motivating individual, already working in the electrical contracting/wholesaling sectors. Our client are a busy, heavy commercial and industrial electrical contractor with control panel building division looking for an individual who can carry out, but not limited to the following:

• Organising of the electrical stores
• Liaising with the Directors, Contracts Engineers, Panel Shop Manager, site and panel shop Forman regarding their requirements in respect to material ordering and delivery
• Negotiations with suppliers regarding quotations, discounts, and rebates
• Monitoring of orders placed to ensure deliveries met as required
• Checking invoices raised, addressing queries, and communication with the accounts
