Humber Recruitment are resourcing an Electrical Contracts Manager for a valued client working on a contract in the Northwest area including Wrexham and Runcorn.
Key Roles
- Managing Maintenance Requirements
- Maintain optimum electric and process control equipment facilities to meet the established objectives of the business
- Ensure reliability of electrics in operation
- Maintain electrical/process control hardware to get the plant at a high level of efficiency, safety, quality, etc
- Maintain liaisons with other departments, disciplines, and facilities to provide necessary support and maintenance for optimal factory operations
- Provide technical direction, training and capability building of Electrical and Control Technicians
- Comply with all safety and environmental regulations (Internal & External)
- Managing Project Requirements
- Determine and document project electrical requirements
- Review, validate and approve electric works and permits
- Ensure adherence, and update MS project programme
- Ensure compliance with electrical designs
- Arrange for and progress the production of electrical drawings
- Attend progress and design meetings
- Perform risk assessment when needed
- Action related design and progress decisions
- Ensure specifications compliance
- Report status to CPUK management team
- Supervision of Electrical Contrctors
- Day to day liaison with contractors engineering and supervisory staff
- Police Health and Safety requirements including CDM
- Supervise works to ensure specification compliance
- Record daily project activity, staff levels and progress
- Control progress in line with project program
- Produce regular management progress reports
- Formulate and submit change concepts
- Seek approval of proposed changes to scope
- Pre-delivery inspections of equipment
- Supervise electric inspection and testing
- Approval of electric inspection and testing documentation
- Supervise device testing programme
- Assist with final commissioning of plant
- Approve supplier invoicing
- Control submission of Final documentation
- Hand-over
