Humber Recruitment is looking for an experience Electrical Engineer to work for our client full time in Immingham.
1 Good fault finding skills, especially under pressure, enabling prompt resolution to technical and process problems.
2 Good housekeeping, working in a tidy fashion ensuring the area is cleared of any engineering materials and waste during and upon completion of work tasks.
3 Working in a safe manner with regards to them self and others who may be affected by their actions.
4 Carry out proactive actions providing support and repair to ensure all maintenance and engineering actions are completed in a timely manner with minimal impact to production
5 Computer literate with effective communication skills with people at all levels both verbally and written.
6 Good knowledge of current electrical standards and working practices applied to an industrial environment.
7 Knowledge of maintenance of electronic drive control equipment, testing/inspecting low voltage electrical installations.
8 Provide support to other departments especially instrumentation/ control
9 Some mechanical support is required
10 Support a positive can do attitude that inspires and motivates team members
Key Attributes (The skills, qualification, competencies and experience required to do the job)
· Recognised and validated engineering qualification to NVQ 3 or equivalent, with a City & Guilds 2365 Level 3 electrical qualification, 18th Edition, knowledge and an appreciation of instrumentation and control would be an advantage. Experience on switchgear, and inverter control.
Honest, flexible, able to work both individually or as part of a team. Have basic I.T. skills.
The roll will require some overtime at evenings and weekends.
