Humber Recruitment are resourcing multiple Electricians for Allied Protek, a leading provider of engineering services and solutions across the UK on a contract based in Manchester and Wrexham.

Job description

Due to further expansion and upcoming projects, an exciting opportunity has arisen for approved electricians to join our client’s team.

This is a full-time on-site role for experienced approved electricians to join our client’s electrical team working on an active site in Manchester and Wrexham. Further career progress available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities for this role are

• Ability to perform electrical installations within commercial and industrial facilities, ensuring work is carried out to current regulations and high-quality standards.
• Electrical inspection testing is advantageous but not essential.
• Experience in panel building/modification.
• Remedial work to bring electrical installations up to current regulations
• Ability to work unsupervised and plan own work when required
• Working alongside other trades on site
• Working on projects under CDM

Essential Criteria

• Weekend/bank holiday work and project-specific rotations
• Full UK driving licence
• At least 2 years’ experience in industrial electrical installation work
• Ability to think on your feet and be self-motivated to deliver excellent service

Schedule

• 10 hour shift
• Travel and expenses paid
• Monday to Friday with regular weekday and weekend overtime

Experience and Qualifications

• Experienced, approved electrician working in commercial and industrial facilities
• Time served approved electrician having served recognised apprenticeship
• Recognised professional qualifications in electrical installation NVQ L3 City and Guilds or equivalent.
• 18th edition IEE Wiring Regulations
• 2391 test and inspection or equivalent (applicants without would be considered)
• CompEx EX01 – 04 (desirable)
• IPAF (desirable)
• JIB Card
