Humber Recruitment are resourcing an Employment Law Solicitor for a new, national client of ours, with multiple locations across the country.
Location: Hull
Qualifications: 2 years + qualified
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive legal advice on employment law issues, including but not limited to unfair dismissal, discrimination, redundancy, TUPE, and employment contracts.
- Represent clients in employment tribunals and courts.
- Prepare and manage cases, including drafting pleadings, witness statements, and negotiating settlements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment law and related legislation.
- Stay updated on changes in relevant laws and legal procedures.
- Provide excellent client service, maintaining clear communication and addressing client concerns.
- Adhere to ethical and professional standards in all aspects of legal practice.
Skills and Experience:
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law.
- Proven track record of handling both contentious and non-contentious employment law matters.
- Excellent advocacy, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage a varied caseload with minimal supervision.
