Humber Recruitment are resourcing General Labourers for a new client of ours based in Stallingborough for an initial period of 3-4 months.

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated General Labourer with expertise in Industrial Cleaning to join our dynamic team. This role involves performing a variety of manual tasks to support industrial operations, ensuring work environments are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to diverse tasks in a fast-paced setting. This position offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to operational efficiency and workplace safety across various industrial sites.

Duties

• Assist with general labour tasks including loading, unloading, and moving materials within industrial facilities
• Conduct thorough cleaning of machinery, equipment, and work areas using appropriate cleaning agents and tools
• Support maintenance activities by preparing work sites and assisting technicians as needed
• Follow safety protocols diligently during all cleaning and manual handling activities
• Operate basic machinery and cleaning equipment safely and effectively
• Maintain cleanliness of tools, equipment, and workspaces to promote a safe environment
• Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and meet project deadlines

Qualifications

• CSCS Card / Safety Passport Required
• Previous experience in industrial cleaning or general labour roles preferred
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks consistently and safely
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Knowledge of safety procedures relevant to industrial environments
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various shifts
• Basic understanding of health and safety regulations applicable to industrial settings

Additional Information

• 3-4 months with potential to be extended
• Potential Shutdown opportunities available with overtime rates
