Labourer (Forklift 5-Tonne)

Humber Recruitment are pleased to be resourcing a Labourer with Forklift (5-tonne counterbalance) for a new client of ours in Immingham with a start date as soon as possible.

About the Role:

We are seeking a versatile and proactive Forklift Operator / General Labourer to join our new client’s small but dynamic team on an initial four-week basis, with a view to going permanent. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of hands-on work, forklift operation, and general site support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating a 5-tonne counterbalance forklift to load and unload vehicles and treatment vessel tracks
• Assisting with stripping wrappers off timber packs
• Performing general maintenance and housekeeping of the site and office areas
• Supporting the team with various tasks as required

Requirements:

• Valid counterbalance forklift (FLT C/B) license
• Previous experience in a labouring or warehouse environment preferred
• Ability to work efficiently within a team and follow safety procedures
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks
