Humber Recruitment are seeking a Logistics Sales Executive for our client based in Immingham.

Are you a skilled logistics sales professional with experience in the Belgian, German, Dutch, and Iberian markets? We’re looking for a motivated and results-driven individual to join our client’s team. If you’re an effective negotiator who thrives in a dynamic environment and excels at building relationships, this is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, generate, and nurture sales leads to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Prepare and deliver engaging sales presentations to a variety of potential clients.
  • Travel to visit both existing and potential clients, building strong relationships and ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Negotiate with clients at all levels, finalising and closing deals while managing client setup, customs formalities, and credit terms.
  • Conduct competitor analysis to understand market trends and levels.
  • Coordination of sales and marketing efforts
  • Support management with detailed reports on sales activities, client feedback, and market insights.
  • Help determine price structures and tariffs towards clients including quoting clients and follow-up calls.

Requirements:

  • Experience in logistics sales within the European market, particularly focusing on Belgium, Germany, and the Netherlands, with the Iberian region as a distinct advantage.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to close deals effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Willingness to travel within the UK and abroad as necessary.
  • Excellent customer service orientation with a track record of managing customer complaints and retention efforts.
