Mechanical Design Engineers

Humber Recruitment are pleased to be resourcing two Mechanical Design Engineers for our client based in Burton-Upon-Trent.

Areas of Responsibility

• Product and system design
• Steel structures design
• Production of engineering fabrication details and drawings
• Mechanical system design – fuel delivery and pipework systems
• Experience in the design of systems used in live fire training simulator products would be a significant advantage.

Requirements

• Completed technical education
• 10 years of experience in producing steel fabrication drawings from 3D models using Inventor software
• Experience with Inventor and AutoCAD software packages
• Working knowledge of BS EN 746- 2 and DIN 14097 standards
• Working knowledge of EU/UK/RoW Gas and NFPA standards
• Understanding of Fail-Safe PLC systems
• Good written and spoken English
• High willingness to travel
