Humber Recruitment are seeking a Mechanical Fitter for our client based in Hull.

Requirements

Proficient in working with stainless steel and to a food industry/pharmaceutical standard.

Hours

39 hour week plus overtime

Monday to Thursday – 07:00 – 16:00

Friday – 07:00 – 12:00

Job Description

The candidate will use engineering methods to assemble and repair metal equipment. They will be able to use heavy machinery and specialised tools to mill and grind raw metal materials, before shaping them into a final product.

Job responsibilities:

• Cutting and shaping metal materials to fit into new machines
• Measuring materials for metal fabrication
• Repairing different types of machinery and equipment
• Interpreting plans, diagrams and graphs for manufacturing operations
• Adhering to safety protocols for multiple types of tools and equipment
• Complying with relevant manufacturing laws and business regulations
