Part Time Soft Furnishing Salesperson

Humber Recruitment are recruiting a Part Time Soft Furnishing Salesperson for Lees Furnishers, a valued, well-established client of ours in Grimsby that offers premium home interiors and flooring.

They are offering a wonderful opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic salesperson to join their dynamic team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and have a strong ability to build relationships with clients. As a soft furnishing salesperson, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and promoting our products, ensuring that customers have a positive experience from start to finish.

Hours

Part-Time – 3 to 4 days including weekends

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
• Demonstrate product features and benefits effectively to encourage sales
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of our product range and industry trends
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers
• Follow up with customers post-purchase to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business
• Assist in maintaining the visual merchandising standards of the store

Requirements

• Previous experience in sales or customer service is preferred but not essential
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage customers effectively
• Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to build rapport quickly
• A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on customer satisfaction
• Ability to work well within a team as well as independently
• Basic numeracy skills for handling transactions and inventory management
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends if required
• A creative eye with an interest in interiors is desired but not essential
