Pipefitting Supervisor

Humber Recruitment are sourcing a Pipefitting Supervisor for a valued client of ours based in Grimsby to oversee operations at the client’s project site.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day activities, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and safely. This role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to supervise a team effectively, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety on site. The position will require the candidate to work on the client’s site in Wrexham, before being based in Grimsby.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily operations on-site, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
• Coordinate with various teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of projects
• Conduct regular inspections of the site to monitor progress and address any issues that arise
• Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative work environment
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any incidents that occur on-site
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met
• Implement training programmes for new staff members to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge

Experience

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within the food factory industry is essential
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to the site environment
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively, providing motivation and support as needed
• Proficiency in problem-solving and conflict resolution in a fast-paced environment

Expected Hours

39 hours per week
