Senior Structural Designer

Humber Recruitment are resourcing a Senior Structural Designer for Allied Protek, a leading provider of engineering services and solutions across the UK, which is actively seeking to expand its current team.

Requirements

• Experienced Structural Designer of platforms, structures and supports
• Capable of leading design work and providing guidance for junior designers
• Capable of checking the drawings of other designers
• Familiar with working to appropriate standards, e.g. EEMUA, BS EN ISO 14122, BS EN 1993, BS EN 1090
• Competent in 3D modelling and detailed fabrication drawings
• Competent in working with 3D laser point cloud surveys
• Preferably competent using AutoCAD products or SolidWorks
• Experience with Navisworks and AutoDesk Docs is an advantage
• Experience working alongside the workshop/fabrication process
