Humber Recruitment are pleased to be resourcing a Senior Wills & Probate Solicitor/FCILEX/Paralegal for a new client of ours in Skegness.

Introduction to the Role

The Client has a vacancy arising for an experienced fee earner in our Wills and Probate Department. This role provides excellent career development opportunities for the right candidate.

Location: Skegness, Lincolnshire (potential to work from home 2-days per week)
Reporting to: Department Director and HR
Hours and Holiday: Full-time, permanent, position Monday to Friday 9 am – 5 pm. 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays.
Salary: £35,000.00 – £45,000.00 depending on experience.

The Role

You will join a thriving private client department, where you will have a varied mix of cases relating to Wills and Probate. You will be responsible for assisting with the allocation of work within your department, as well as assisting with the training and supervision of junior team members.

To be considered for this role, your application must reflect that you have a minimum of 5 years experience of in handling a range of Wills and Probate cases from start to finish, including advising on and drafting the following:

  • Wills
  • Probate
  • Powers of Attorney
  • Court of Protection
  • Trusts
  • Estate Planning
  • Wealth Management and Inheritance Tax

The successful candidate will be:

  • IT literate with the ability to work effectively on a case management system.
  • Able to work well as a team, as well as being able to work on your own initiative.
  • Willing to participate in business development activities.
  • You will have excellent client care and interpersonal skills.
