Humber Recruitment are resourcing Sheet Metal Workers for Allied Protek, a leading provider of engineering services and solutions across the UK on a contract based in Manchester and Wrexham.

Hours

10-hour days with overtime plus weekends when required.

Role Description

The successful candidates will support Allied Protek’s team based in Runcorn, working on a contract based in Manchester and Wrexham. The ideal candidates will have experience working within the controlled environment of operational manufacturing sites safely and cleanly.

The role involves day-to-day tasks such as interpreting engineering drawings, manufacturing and installation of fabrications/pipework/ductwork/sheet metalwork, ensuring quality and safety standards are maintained plus collaborating with the engineering team to meet installation requirements.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified time-served
• Experience in stainless steel fabrication and welding
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings
• Knowledge of quality and safety standards required for hygienic installations
• Collaborative teamwork skills
• Strong attention to detail and precision
• Proficient in working with stainless steel to a food industry/pharmaceutical standard
