Humber Recruitment are resourcing a Structural Site Supervisor for our client in Stallingborough on an initial short-term contract with a view to permanent employment.

Humber Recruitment are searching for an experienced Structural Steel Site Supervisor for a contract in Stallingborough. The successful candidate must have IOSH and be able to carry out risk assessments and compile reports. In addition, you must also hold a valid safety passport. This is an ongoing project with a start date as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervision on site overseeing the labour and making sure that individuals perform their duties effectively and in compliance with health and safety regulations.

Duties

• Supervise and manage on-site staff, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance.
• Monitor daily operations to ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections of the site to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
• Coordinate with various departments to facilitate smooth workflow and resolve any issues that arise.
• Maintain accurate records of site activities, including attendance, incidents, and equipment usage.
• Foster a positive working environment by promoting teamwork and encouraging professional development among staff.

Experience

• Proven experience in a supervisory role, within the industrial industry.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to the site environment.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise with team members and management.
• Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and solve problems efficiently.
