Level 1 Cook (Temporary)

Humber Recruitment is sourcing a Level 1 Cook on a temporary four-month contract with a client in Grimsby.

Hours: 20 hours per week – Monday to Friday – 9am until 1pm.

Hourly rate: £13.26 per hour

The role will be for term-time only. For the Christmas period, the candidate will be off between 19th December and 5th January. In addition, the chosen candidate will also be away from work on the week commencing 16th February.

The job would entail cutting fruit for snacks, making meals for children, such as, but not limited to, spaghetti bolognese, sausage and mashed potato, curry and rice and flapjack. They will also be expected to prepare afternoon tea, which includes foods such as sandwiches and vegetable sticks. The client would also expect the chosen candidate to complete cleaning tasks in the kitchen and make lists for ordering, etc.

The candidate should also hold a Level 2 in Hygiene and will also be subject to passing a DBS check.
