Humber Recruitment are resourcing a Business Support Administrator for our Grimsby based client.

 

Permanent full-time contract (37 hours)

Monday to Thursday – 09:00 to 17:00; Friday – 09:00 to 16:30

What will you be doing?

You will be a key member of the Business Support team, providing efficient, effective administrative and support services to the fostering, residential and domiciliary services, Directors, departmental managers, staff and foster carers for the whole organisation.

Skills, knowledge, experience, and qualifications 

The client is looking for someone who is professional, personable, and proactive. You will be expected to exercise initiative and independent judgement whilst ensuring a high degree of tact and diplomacy, maintaining confidentiality at all times.

Key elements of the role require for you to be an effective team player, have excellent interpersonal skills, and be a good communicator (both verbally and written).

You should have outstanding organisational and time-management skills, and good attention to detail.

You must have the equivalent of 3 GCSE’s (including Maths and English, C or above), NVQ L2 in Business Administration or Customer Services and a full working knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes, in particular, Sharepoint, Word and Excel.

Ideally, you will have a minimum of 5 years working in a busy, highly complex, administrative environment and excellent keyboard skills. Experience in taking complex minutes would be advantageous, however, full training can be provided.
