Humber Recruitment are delighted to be seeking a Finance Officer on behalf of a valued client of ours based in Hull.

The role will begin as a temporary role, with a view to be made permanent at a later date.

As a Finance Officer in the Accounts Department, you will be supporting the team in the following aspects:

  • Purchase ledger
  • Weekly payment runs
  • Credit control
  • Reconciliations
  • Stock takes
  • Supplier statements
  • Payroll support

Required experience and skills

  • Ideally possess ATT qualifications
  • Immediate availability (preferably)
  • At least one year experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced manufacturing company
  • Ability to build effective relationships with all stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to prioritise tasks
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Experience in working with a variety of systems (Sage, ERP, Business Central)
