Humber Recruitment are resourcing a Mechanical Design Engineer with specialist experience using Inventor for our Burton-on-Trent based client.

Area of Responsibility

• Product and system design
• Steel Structures design
• Production of engineering fabrication details and drawings
• Mechanical system design – fuel delivery and pipework systems
• Any past experience in the design of systems used in live fire training simulator products would be an advantage

Requirements

• Completed technical education (University, FH)
• Several years of professional experience in mechanical design engineering
• Experience using Inventor and AutoCAD design software packages
• Working knowledge of BSEN746-2 and DIN14097 standards
• Working knowledge of EU/UK/RoW Gas and NFPA standards
• Understanding of Fail Safe PLC systems
• Very good spoken and written command of English
• High willingness to travel
