Humber Recruitment are resourcing an Operations Coordinator in Workshop and Service for our client based in Immingham on a full-time basis.

 

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised Operations Coordinator to join our team in Immingham. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role responsible for the end-to-end coordination of machine orders — from arrival through to workshop processing, delivery, and invoicing. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams, engineers, suppliers, and contractors to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Workflow Coordination

  • Manage the progress of machine arrivals, workshop activity, and final delivery
  • Convert work orders into job packs for the workshop team
  • Track job status and provide updates to internal teams

Supplier & Workshop Liaison

  • Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and engineers on-site
  • Ensure work is completed on time and to the required standards

Documentation & Compliance

  • Process orders, invoices, and warranty claims
  • Issue CE certification and ensure compliance requirements are met
  • Upload and manage documentation within internal systems

Delivery & Systems Administration

  • Arrange deliveries and prepare dispatch documentation
  • Update internal systems, including labour hours and job tracking
  • Close jobs and complete delivery notifications

Person Specification

  • Experience in an operations, service, or administrative coordination role
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Confident communicator, able to work effectively across teams and suppliers
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Office applications
  • High attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving mindset
  • Experience in engineering, construction, or machinery environments is desirable but not essential
